At CAFA, I learned to keep trying new things and to challenge myself with projects I didn't yet know how to make.
At Parsons, my professors teach software more systematically, and they treat every idea as worth discussing. We start from ordinary objects in daily life, develop and iterate on an idea, then connect the pieces again to find new inspiration. Before Parsons, I had never learned to mind-map an idea or to follow a small one this far.
I also went from learning in Chinese to learning in English. I switched my software to English, and at first I couldn't find tools I already knew. With time, their English names became familiar. Now I can help students in either language. I know how frustrating a small technical problem can be, so I want to help students spend less time stuck and more time on their own ideas.

Shared Blender methods with other club members, such as setting a Track To constraint’s axes correctly so the camera doesn’t flip, and fixing a stalled Follow Path move by adding its missing path animation.
Fixed texture stretching around the elbow of a classmate's character model by moving the arm seam to the inner side and unwrapping it again.

Walked a classmate through removing white edges around a cutout by contracting the mask.
Walked a classmate through making a composite look more natural, using Curves and Color Balance to match the subject to the background
